As the world, and hotels, started to open up again after pandemic lockdowns, it was important to Marriott International that guests feel safe and comfortable staying at Marriott Bonvoy properties. My team at Riott Haus was tasked with creating a video that communicated MI’s commitment to guests’ safety that broke the mold of many corporate cleanliness videos at the time—talking heads, stock video compilations, and animations with dry voiceovers. Drawing inspiration from the world of airline safety videos, I worked closely with a small team and a super talented crew, we had a blast reimagining the genre.
