3 days of multi-tap organic Instagram Stories created to promote a flash special offer on e-comm. Assets were created to tie into creative running on all other company channels, using a mix of our social-specific imagery and pdp.

First of three multi-tap Instagram Stories published to our organic feed in support of a limited time offer.
We were asked to promote some of the cult-favorite and new beauty products at Macy’s in September. I wanted to place an emphasis on putting the products in very familiar, homey environments, making it easy for our audience to imagine the products in their own homes. For the final assets, I used motion graphics to create compelling videos using the stills I directed. These Instagram Stories ultimately had a 100% completion rate in Q3.

Mother’s Day is a key retail moment for Macy’s, however, with disruptions in productions and supply chains due to COVID-19, we weren’t able to move forward with our planned content. Fortunately, we were able to collaborate with our amazing beauty team to create a beauty-themed micro gift guide.
We asked team members to share products that they had would be appropriate for gifting. Working closely together, I provided art direction remotely, and we were able to produce lifestyle imagery in exactly the tone we were aiming for, despite many of the team members having no background in photography. We also asked for personal anecdotes behind the gifts they chose, and gave the option to shoot a short video explaining the same.
With these assets, I created three carousels and an Instagram story, all of which went live in the week prior to Mother’s Day.
